Danford's Hotel & Marina: For a laid-back option this New Year's Eve, check out Danford's Hotel & Marina in Port Jefferson. The venue has dinner seatings at both 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., with food by Executive Chef Jonathan Levine of the WAVE Seafood Kitchen as well as live entertainment. Guests looking for overnight accommodations can purchase packages starting at $449, which include a four-course dinner for two and a next-day full American breakfast buffet.

The Inn at Fox Hollow: Those looking to spend New Year's Eve at The Inn at Fox Hollow in Woodbury can choose from a variety of options within the Fox Hollow Gala and Somerley Gala packages. Whether guests choose to spend the night or are just looking for an evening of fun, all tickets provide access to a full cocktail hour, sit-down dinner with dessert, premium all-night open bar, a champagne toast at midnight, and live DJ entertainment.

Montauk Manor: This one's a little far, but it's well worth it for a full weekend of celebrating. The event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and ticket prices include a champagne and sparkling cider greeting, cocktail hour, dinner buffet, dessert and ice cream bar, mock midnight champagne and cider toast, and a live DJ and entertainment. Long Island Philharmonic: For a different kind of New Year's Eve celebration, consider the Long Island Philharmonic New Year's Eve Spectacular. The performance will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, and will be conducted by music director David Stewart Wiley. The event will feature music from Tony and Academy Award winners and nominees, including Gone with the Wind, Meet Me in St. Louis, West Side Story, Star Wars, Chariots of Fire and Titanic.

The Snapper Inn: If you're looking to spend New Year's Eve on the waterfront, try The Snapper Inn in Oakdale. For $95, guests get access to an open bar, live band, and can choose from a wide selection of appetizers, salads, and entrees. The venue is located on the beautiful Connetquot River.
