Two local stores were were cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative Monday, police say.

Two local store clerks were arrested for selling alcohol to a minor Monday during a New York State Police underage drinking enforcement operation, police said.

During the operation, two stores were cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative, police said.

Wei Jin, 26, of Syosset, a clerk at Farmingville Liquor Corp. on Horseblock Road in Farmingville and Robert Curiale, 19, of Farmingville, a clerk at the 7-Eleven on Horseblock Road in Farmingville, were arrested and charged with first degree unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage.

The following businesses refused to sell alcohol to the minor:

  • Mobil Gas on Portion Road in Farmingville
  • Farmingville Wines & Liquors on Horseblock Road in Farmingville
  • Corner Wines & Liquors on Horseblock Road in Farmingville
  • BP Mart on Horseblock Road in Farmingville
  • 7-Eleven at 2810 Route 112 in Medford
  • Pope Liquors on Route 112 in Medford
  • 7-Eleven at 2725 Route 112 in Medford
  • U.S. Food Mart on Route 112 in Medford
  • 112 Liquor Corp. on Route 112 in Medford
