FARMINGVILLE, NY – A heartwarming homecoming invoked smiles and cheers at Lynwood Avenue Elementary School in the Sachem Central School District on Wednesday when United States Navy Petty Officer Jacob Stock returned home from a year-long tour of duty in Bahrain to surprise his two children, Andrew, a kindergarten student, and Ava, who is in fourth grade.
“I love my family," Stock, who is also a Suffolk County Police officer, said after the reunion, according to a CBS 2 report. "It was tough being away."
