2 Winning New York Lotto Tickets Sold In Suffolk County

The tickets were sold on Monday. Do you have one?

HOLBROOK, NY — Two winning New York Lottery tickets were sold this week in Suffolk County, lottery officials said Tuesday.

A third prize ticket worth $50,000 for Monday's Powerball was purchased at the 7-Eleven store on North Country Road in Rocky Point. The winning ticket had four of the five numbers — 4-7-32-55-64 — and the Powerball of 25.

One top-prize winning ticket was sold for Monday's Take 5 evening drawing, New York Lottery officials said Tuesday.

The $33,024 ticket was purchased at Elite Group Holbrook on Veterans Highway, according to officials.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69 and the Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to of 26, officials said. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m. The next jackpot is Sept. 7 and it is an estimated $170 million.

Powerball players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app.

Take 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket have to check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to see if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing, officials explained in a news release.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39 and the drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., officials said, adding, that a lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing."
