- Winter storm forecasted tonight into tomorrow. A winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. tonight until 1 p.m. Tuesday. Rain, snow, and sleet are all in the forecast along with wind gusts up to 35 mph. (Patch)

- ICYMI: Brookhaven Community Choice Aggregation Energy program will launch in May. The program allows residents to choose an energy option over the utility's default rate for the natural gas supply portion of home and business owners' bills. This option will allow the town to buy natural gas on their behalf. "By creating a Community Choice Aggregation energy program, the town is able to help cut their energy costs and keep more money in their pockets, Supervisor Ed Romaine said. "I encourage every natural gas consumer to learn more about this money-saving natural gas program." (Sachem Patch)
