Woman Arrested in Ronkonkoma Massage Parlor Raid

A 42-year-old woman is charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession.

RONKONKOMA, NY – A woman was arrested during a raid at a massage parlor in Ronkonkoma Friday afternoon, Suffolk Police said.

In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence detectives, Town of Brookhaven building inspectors and fire marshals, in conjunction with agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Lily Spa, located at 354 Ronkonkoma Ave., at approximately 4 p.m.. police said.

During an investigation conducted by the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal and Building Inspector, 13 town and state code violations were discovered resulting in the location being condemned and deemed unfit for human occupancy, police said.

Guoyin Ji, 42, of Flushing, was arrested and charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony under the New York State Education law.

Ji is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday. The investigation is continuing.
