Woman Charged With Prostitution After Lake Ronkonkoma Massage Parlor Raid
The raid occurred Friday afternoon, police say.
LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY – A 41-year-old woman was arrested during a massage parlor raid in Lake Ronkonkoma Friday afternoon, Suffolk Police said.
In response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers, the Smithtown fire marshal, and the Smithtown building inspector conducted an investigation into illegal activity at Zhen Zhen Spa located at 347 Smithtown Boulevard, police said.
Hua Li, of Flushing, was arrested at about 4:15 p.m. and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony under the New York State Education Law, and one count of prostitution, a misdemeanor under the New York State Penal Law.

An investigation by the Smithtown fire marshal revealed numerous town code violations. Li is scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
