Woman Struck, Killed On Middle Country Road In Suffolk: Police
She was crossing the roadway at County Road 83 when she was struck by a 2001 Honda Civic, police said.
SELDEN, NY — A woman was struck and killed on Middle Country Road in Selden early Friday, Suffolk police said.
She had been crossing the road at the intersection of County Road 83 when she was struck by a 2001 Honda Civic driven by Aaron Vogel at about 2:15 a.m., according to police.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said, adding, that her name is being withheld pending the notification of her next of kin. Vogel and a passenger in his car were not injured, police said.

His Honda was impounded for a safety check, according to police.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to call the 6th Squad at 631-852-8652.
