Woman Taken To Hospital After Her Dog Bites Her In North Bellport: Police
She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
NORTH BELLPORT, NY — A woman was taken to the hospital after her dog bit her in North Bellport on Friday night, police said.
The woman, 20, suffered a laceration to her right leg and was taken to NYU Langone Hospital- Suffolk in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Brookhaven spokesman Drew Scott said that neither the town's Public Safety division nor animal control have any reports of a dog bite in North Bellport.

It happened on Station Road at around 10:30 p.m., police said.
