LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY – A 57-year-old Lake Ronkonkoma woman was robbed and assaulted in Lake Ronkonkoma Wednesday morning, police said.   The woman was walking on Uhl Street and talking on her cellphone when an unknown man punched her in the head and stole her phone at about 11 a.m., police said.  Police said it was unclear if the woman went to the hospital.   Police did not release a description of the robber. LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY – A 57-year-old Lake Ronkonkoma woman was robbed and assaulted in Lake Ronkonkoma Wednesday morning, police said.

The woman was walking on Uhl Street and talking on her cellphone when an unknown man punched her in the head and stole her phone at about 11 a.m., police said.  Police said it was unclear if the woman went to the hospital.
