Join us at the beautiful masonic Temple in
Sag Harbor, for an unforgettable evening of traditional Romanian Gypsy music featuring the extraordinary Sanda Weigl and her pianist accompanist, Shoko Nagai and bassist Jameson Ellis.

Born in Bucharest and a child prodigy on Romanian national television, Sanda's journey has taken her from communist Eastern Europe to the vibrant music scene of New York City. Her powerful voice carries decades of tradition, resilience, and the timeless songs she first learned from the legendary Maria Tanase. Now based in New York, Sanda has captivated audiences from the Lower East Side to the East End with her deeply moving performances.

This intimate concert will feature beloved traditional songs including "Ciuleandra," "Butelcuta Mea," and selections from her acclaimed album Gypsy Killer.

This unforgettable evening of music is a fundraiser for Hope and Resilience Long Island (HARLI), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking on the East End of Long Island. HARLI works tirelessly to provide legal advocacy, trauma counseling, case management, and emergency assistance to those experiencing domestic abuse, sexual assault, or human trafficking on the East End of Long Island. The funds raised from this event will go directly toward helping clients with essential needs, such as counseling, housing, and legal representation, as they navigate their paths to safety and healing.

Admission to this special event is a suggested donation of $20 in advance, with all proceeds supporting HARLI’s critical mission. Whether you’re a lover of live music, a supporter of local nonprofits, or simply looking for an evening of joy and connection, this event promises to be a night to remember. Come experience the magic of Romanian Folk/Jazz Music while helping HARLI provide hope and resilience to those who need it most.
