About the Workshop
Step into a real-world callback experience with one of New York’s most in-demand casting professionals.
In this hands-on, on-camera intensive, actors will work one-on-one in partnered scenes, just as they would in an actual audition or callback. Participants will receive individualized feedback from Meghan Rafferty, a working casting director and actor, with expert guidance on what truly makes auditions stand out.
This workshop also includes in-depth instruction on self-taping, covering:
• Scene preparation
• Camera setup and framing
• Lighting and sound basics
• Recording, editing, and submission best practices
• What casting directors are actually looking for

About Meghan Rafferty
Meghan Rafferty is a New York–based casting director and actor with over 17 years of industry experience. She has worked on projects for Amazon, HBO, NBCUniversal, and major feature films, and is one of only three casting directors in New York actively working as an actor.
Her casting credits include projects featuring Elizabeth Banks, Jessica Biel, and Ann Dowd, as well as films directed by Jim Jarmusch, along with numerous independent films and award-winning series. Meghan is also a passionate educator who has taught hundreds of on-camera classes throughout New York City and at universities nationwide.
Her approach blends clarity, warmth, humor, and direct industry insight, creating an environment where actors feel relaxed, confident, and able to do their best work.
