Bay Street Theater presents Cagney, a thrilling and high-energy musical celebrating the life and career of legendary Hollywood star James Cagney.produced in association with Riki Kane Larimer
Best known for iconic films like Yankee Doodle Dandy, Cagney was far more than a movie star. He began his career as a song-and-dance man in vaudeville before rising to become one of the most electrifying performers of the golden age of Hollywood. Cagney brings that incredible story to the stage through dynamic choreography, powerful music, and unforgettable storytelling.
Packed with tap dancing, bold theatrical energy, and songs inspired by the era that shaped Cagney’s career, the musical captures the determination and charisma that made him one of entertainment’s most enduring legends.
Directed by Bay Street Associate Artistic Director Will Pomerantz, this exciting production highlights the spirit, grit, and showmanship that defined Cagney’s remarkable life.
