Sayville Public Schools recently hosted its annual All-District Art Show, welcoming families, friends, staff members, and community residents to celebrate the creativity and accomplishments of student-artists from across the district. Held at Sayville High School, the event featured an impressive display of artwork spanning a variety of mediums and grade levels.
The exhibit filled the main floor with student artwork, while senior showcases on the second floor gave graduating artists the opportunity to sit alongside their collections and discuss their artistic experiences and inspirations with guests. Throughout the day, students and their families explored the gallery-style displays and celebrated the artistic achievements of Sayville’s young creators.
Award-winning artwork was recognized with ribbons, while juried senior winners received monetary awards, and People’s Choice winners earned art-themed prizes.
“This event is always a wonderful celebration of the incredible creativity and talent of our students,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Marc Ferris said. “The All-District Art Show reflects the dedication of our student-artists and teachers, while also highlighting the importance of the arts throughout our schools.”
