SAYVILLE, NY — Sayville High School recently honored 27 students during its annual Breakfast of Champions. The tradition recognizes students who demonstrate strong character, kindness, and positive conduct throughout the school community.
The event celebrates students who go above and beyond to help others, perform good deeds without seeking recognition and help create an inclusive, supportive environment for their peers, the district said.
Each student was selected and nominated by a member of the Sayville High School faculty for embodying values such as compassion, integrity, leadership and respect.
“Breakfast of Champions is one of the most meaningful traditions at Sayville High School because it shines a light on the students who make our school community stronger through their kindness, empathy, and everyday actions,” Sayville High School Principal Stephanie Bricker said. “These students lead by example and remind us of the importance of strong character. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.”
