Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest, with multiple confidential ways to submit information.
   

• Father stabbed to death by his own son inside Long Island apartment on Labor Day: police (nypost.com) — A Mastic man is accused of fatally stabbing his 69-year-old father in the apartment they shared, with the victim managing to call 911 before dying. The suspect was later walked out of the 6th Precinct in Sayville for arraignment, where he pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and was remanded without bail.
