• VFW post honors Eagle Scouts (trihamletnews.com) — Local veterans from Sayville's VFW Post 433 recently honored two members of Sayville Scouting America Troop 184 who achieved the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. One scout built an archway and bench at Brookside County Park in Sayville, while the other revitalized a church playground, improving safety and enjoyment for neighborhood children and families.
