20-Year-Old Scarsdale Man Admits Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material In Plea Deal: DA
He is expected to be sentenced, in Sept., to 10 years of probation, sex offender registration, and additional fines, according to the DA.
SCARSDALE, NY — A Scarsdale man will be spared prison in a "heinous" child pornography case.
Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced on Wednesday that 20-year-old Bora Secmen, of Scarsdale, admitted to possessing child sexual abuse material during a court hearing on Tuesday.
Secmen pleaded guilty to felony possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 8, where he is expected to be sentenced to 10 years of probation, sex offender registration, and additional fines.
"There is little more heinous than crimes committed against children, especially those involving sexual exploitation and abuse," Cacace said. "Possessing the evidence of those crimes revictimizes the young children who have already been taken advantage of and perpetuates the underlying abuse. My administration works tirelessly to detect and prosecute the proliferation of child sexual abuse material, and yesterday's plea is the latest example of our work to hold these offenders accountable."

According to a felony complaint, on July 25, 2025, Secmen possessed an image depicting child sexual abuse captioned with the text: "You did it... You went lower and lower... There's nowhere else to go from here... Ultimate Pedo."
The case was investigated by the Westchester County District Attorney's High Technology Crime Unit in collaboration with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the New York State Crimes Against Children Task Force.
The case is being prosecuted by Cyber Crimes Bureau Chief Michael Delohery.
