48-Year-Old Scarsdale Man ID'd as Victim in Metro North Train Fatality

Rakesh Bali, 48, of Scarsdale, has been identified as the man who was killed Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a Metro-North train, according to authorities.

Bali was killed just after 4 p.m., and police said it appears he jumped in front of the train as it passed near the Hartsdale station, reports The Journal News.

The train was not carrying passengers at the time and no other injuries were reported.
