
Peter J. Tesler, MD, MPH of Scarsdale, joined WESTMED Practice Partners, a management services organization, as medical director effective May 14. Most recently, Dr. Tesler served as chief medical officer/vice president medical affairs for Community Healthcare Network, a 12- site primary care network of federally qualified health centers in New York City.
He received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his pediatric internship and residency at New England Medical Center in Boston. He also holds an MPH degree from Boston University School of Public Health. Dr. Tesler, who is a board-certified pediatrician, plans to see patients one day a week starting in June.
Dr. Tesler lives in Scarsdale with his wife Debby, also a pediatrician, and three sons.
