On March 29, 2014, State Troopers from SP Hawthorne arrested a Fairfield, CT man for driving while intoxicated after he was stopped driving northbound in the southbound lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway.
Troopers received numerous calls about a Jeep going northbound in the southbound lanes—and speeding.
They found and stopped the Jeep just north of I-287.
The driver was transported to SP Hawthorne and given Standardized Field Sobriety tests which he failed. He was then transported to Westchester Medical Center where he consented to a blood test.
He posted bail and was released to a third party to appear in Village of Elmsford Court on April 4. 2014 at 9:00 AM.
