The Art Promenade Featured Artist: Beatrice Jousset-Drouhin

Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France to a family of artists, Beatrice Jousset-Drouhin has always been interested in art. At the age of ten she won first prize in a painting competition and since then, painting has been her passion.

In 1997, settled in Beaune, in Cote d’or, France, Beatrice attended the School of Fine Arts where she was encouraged to discover and develop her own style. She discovered the palette knife technique, as well as the acrylic texture, which she immediately adopted.

In 2005, Beatrice moved to New York and settled in the Westchester area. She has exhibited in Provence and Paris.
