Author Dr. Diane Lewis to speak about her book, "The Great Healthy Yard Project: Our Yards, Our Children, Our Responsibility," at Scarsdale Library on May 7th at 7:30pm

Scarsdale Library will host author in a discussion of the harmful effects of pesticides.

Scarsdale Library is pleased to host Dr. Diane Lewis on Thursday, May 7th at 7:30p

The most widespread problem facing our drinking water is pollution by the chemicals we use on our yards and gardens.  Dr. Diane Lewis, author of The Great Healthy Yard Project: Our Yards, Our Children, Our Responsibility, will discuss how residents can care for their yards and gardens in a way that also protects our water quality and our families.  Dr. Lewis has been speaking with people across the country about the health risks that pesticides pose.  Dr. Lewis will provide you with natural options that will protect the health of our community.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
