Business Group Forum To Help Employers Understand Impact Of Affordable Care Ruling
The July 10 forum to include experts providing advice for employers following the decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold Obamacare.

With pundits and experts going over the fine details of the U.S. Supreme Court decision, a Westchester business group said it is hosting a forum to help local employers understand the impact of the ruling that upholds that Affordable Health Care Law.
“Employers will need to implement a response to the law over the next year,” said John Ravitz, the EVP and COO of the Business Council of Westchester. “Our goal is to provide Business Council Members the opportunity to interface with experts who will be able to provide the guidance needed to properly implement the new rules."
Ravitz said this decision will impact businesses immediately.

"This will be uncharted territory for businesses, which is why we are holding our July 10 Rapid Response forum," Ravitz said. "Our experts will provide as many answers as possible about the new law so, hopefully, the process is more clear and simple for the Westchester business community.”
The forum at Pace University is set to include Michelle Capezza from Epstein Becker Green and Leslie Moran from the New York Health Plan Association, who will explain the employer’s responsibilities, what information they now have to supply to employees and what the ramifications could be if they do not comply.
