A/C Unit Thought to Be Cause of Scarsdale Fire
Fire officials said the homeowner delayed calling for help because he tried to put the fire out himself.
Scarsdale, NY — A faulty air conditioning unit is thought to b the cause of an early morning fire in Scarsdale Monday.

FIOS1 News said there was heavy smoke when about 30 firefighters arrived at the Bell Road location, and that the homeowner attempted to put out the fire himself before calling the fire department.
