Cablevision, Verizon Rebate Information For Sandy Victims
The following is information from Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.

The following information may be helpful to those who suffered outages since the hurricane. I just wrote to the liaison assigned by FEMA to local officials asking if residents who stayed in hotels during the emergency because their homes were freezing could get reimbursed. He promised to get back back to me.
Other questions I have: Will FEMA reimburse for lost wages, child care, food? If you have any other questions please advise and I'll try to get the info to you.

For Verizon, all you have to do is call 1-888-591-6076 and follow the prompts for billing, When you ultimately reach a customer representative, he/she asks you when you lost your electricity and when you got it back. and they credit your account. They put you on hold and after a few minutes they come back and tell you the amount they are crediting your account. The whole process takes under 10 minutes.
