Crews Working To Restore Scattered Power Outages
in the wake of the storm, more than 1,000 customers were without electricity.
The storm that moved through the Hudson Valley Monday and Monday night left more than 1,000 electrical customers without power. Crews are working Tuesday to restore the homes and businesses to the grid.
As of 10 a.m., there were 147 Central Hudson customers in Ulster County and 37 in Orange waiting for their electricity to come back on. Those in the Town of Newburgh should be back on by 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, while restoration time is pending for the remainder in the City of Newburgh.
Hardest hit in Ulster was the Town of Lloyd, where the estimated time for restoration is 1 p.m. Tuesday.

NYSEG customers without electricity include 10 in Orange County and six in Putnam. The former are estimated to be restored by 1 p.m.; the latter, by noon.
In Westchester County, Con Edison is seeing more than 400 customers without electricity.

Outages in the towns of Cortlandt and Mount Pleasant, Mount Vernon, Yonkers and the Village of Scarsdale should all be back on by noon.
