David Dyner Places Third for Age Group in Tobay Triathlon

David Dyner of Scarsdale recently took his talents to Oyster Bay for the Runner’s Edge TOBAY Triathlon and Tri-Relay presented by Engel Burman where he placed third in the Male 14-19 division.

On an overcast morning with periods of rain, more than 350 competitors tested their strength and endurance on the Long Island course which was managed by the Greater Long Island Road Running Club. The competition included a ½ mile swim in Oyster Bay Harbor, a 12.3K hilly bike ride through Oyster Bay and Oyster Bay Cove, and a 5K run past Mill Neck and Brookville.

David Dyner, 14, completed the triathlon in 1:04:37, earning a trophy in the Male 14-19 division, which consisted of 18 total athletes. Full results from the triathlon can be viewed here.
