Edgemont Wrestling Coach Charged With Rape

The Tarrytown resident is a physical education teacher in the New York City schools.

SCARSDALE, NY — A Tarrytown man, who is a school teacher in New York City, was arrested Monday after an investigation into illegal sexual contact with a minor. Tyler Sick, 29, an assistant wrestling coach at Edgemont High School, was charged with third-degree rape.

Police were asking for other students to call the Special Victims Unit if they have had inappropriate contact with Sick, lohud.com said. The number is 914-989-1736.

According to the Westchester County Jail website, Sick is being held on $20,000 bail and is due to return to Tarrytown Village Justice Court Tuesday, Dec. 5.
