DICKENS, A Celebration In Pictures: Illustrations by the Children's Book Illustrators Group

2012 marks the bicentennial year of the birth of Charles Dickens with year long, global celebrations to honor his work and life. Illustrations of the author’s literary works by The Children’s Book Illustrator Group will be exhibited in the Art Gallery at the Yonkers Riverfront Library, August 25 - October 31, 2012.

The exhibit features Dickens EVENT DAYS SEPTEMBER 13 and OCTOBER 13 with Dickens experts and CBIG artists: picture book story time readings, making comic book art for teens, artist demos, discussion panel on Dickens, interviews, lectures, and performance readings by Friends of Dickens.
