Middle East expert Eric R. Mandel will offer a lively and timely talk on the latest in the US-Israel relationship, delegitimization and the risk of a third intifada. Mandel is director of the Middle East Political and Information Network, a research and analysis newsletter that focuses on the region. He is frequently called upon to share his insights with the news media. The former political chair of AIPAC Westchester, Dr. Mandel is cochair of the Five Synagogues of White Plains Israel Action Committee. He is also a renowned corneal surgeon.
Dr. Mandel's talk is being presented by the Beth El Israel Action Committee. A $5 donation is suggested; students are welcome to attend free of charge. Refreshments will be served.
