The Westchester County Parks Department is holding a shelter building workshop at the Cranberry Lake Preserve on Old Orchard Street in North White Plains. Naturalist Melissa Sullivan will lead this hands-on program and help you make either a backyard clubhouse or an emergency shelter. Afterwards, climb in and find you if it can survive a sudden rainstorm.
