Developed at Yale Child Study Center, PMT is an evidence-based therapy for children and has been shown to be effective in decreasing oppositional, aggressive and antisocial behavior by training parents to manage their child's behavioral problems in the home and at school.  Parents will learn new ways to understand their child's behavior and to practice skills and techniques for effectively handling problem behaviors. Parents will learn how to prompt, praise, set up behavior charts, ignore inappropriate behaviors, use time-out procedures and engage in active role plays to practice those skills.

Interested parents should contact Kari Phillips, LCSW at 914-949 – 7699, ext 377 or kphillips@wjcs.com
