Qigong: The Vital Energy

Jian Yang Rong leads six weeks of this unique fitness course at the Scarsdale Adult School.  Qigong, part of traditional Chinese medicine, treats the body, mind and the environment as a whole.  Qigong practices include slow body movements, meditation and special breathing techniques.  Qigong students can experience deep relaxation, concentration and a peaceful, clear mind.  In addition, qigong practices help to clear energy blockages and improve blood circulation in the body. In this class students will learn qigong exercises to increase flexibility, improve balance, reduce stress, increase concentration, and rejuvenate the mind, body, spirit and more!
