This Saturday, March 19, the Scarsdale track and field team is hosting a run/walk-a-thon to raise money for the victims of the tragedy in Japan. The event is open to all students at Scarsdale High School as well as all members of the community (all ages). We have created a sponsor sheet (see attached file) and are raising money on a "per-lap" system or overall donations. There will also be a bake sale, and 100 percent of the donations will be going straight to the American Red Cross.
Everyone is invited! Families can run or walk, buy some baked goods and make a donation, or simply come and check out the event!
