
The Scarsdale Forum Inc. cordially invites the public to its meeting on Thursday, February 2 in the Scott Room of the Scarsdale Library at 8 p.m. A reception honoring Friends of the Scarsdale Parks, the Conservation Advisory Council and Friends of the Weinberg Nature Center begins at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Following the business portion of the membership meeting, Deputy County Executive Kevin J. Plunkett will present “State of the County.”
The Sustainable Scarsdale Committee will host a panel discussing “Village Sustainability Initiatives” including the recent announcement of future leaf mulching on village owned property. Panelists include Mayor Miriam L. Flisser, Trustee Kay Eisenman and Anne Jaffe Holmes, Coordinator of Environmental Projects at the Greenburgh Nature Center.

Introductory Bio: Anne Jaffe Holmes
Anne Jaffe Holmes is an Environmental Educator and Coordinator of Environmental Projects at the Greenburgh Nature Center. Anne has been teaching, leading programs, and creating community dialogues on environmental topics at the Greenburgh Nature Center for 5 years. Before coming to the Greenburgh Nature Center, Anne was an Environmental Educator for Westchester County Parks, leading field trips and nature programs for schools throughout the County. Anne is also a volunteer member of the Green Policy Task Force for the Village of Irvington, and a founding member of the Love ‘Em & Leave ‘Em Initiative. Anne chaired the Irvington Climate Action Task Force which produced the Village’s Climate Action Plan in 2007.
