Spanish Artists Throughout History

This three-week course examines the lives and works of several renowned Spanish painters, beginning with artists from Spain’s Golden Age, including Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez, Jusepe de Ribera, and Francisco de Zuburán. The next session explores artists from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries such as Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes and Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida. The series concludes with Spanish modern artists Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, and Joan Miró.
