Howard Friedman served as President and then Chairman of the Board of AIPAC, and was listed twice by Washington Life Magazine as one of the 100 most powerful people in Washington. He was also President of the JTA, and serves on the boards of Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Simon Wiesenthal Center. He is the current President of the American Israel Educational Foundation, the charitable arm of AIPAC
