The Quest for Teens: How We Can Inspire the Next Generation of Jewish Men and Women?

On Friday, May 21 beginning at 6:15 pm,  Women of Reform Judaism of Westchester Reform Temple will hold its Annual Dinner and Service.

The special evening will include a lecture by Deborah Meyer, executive director of Moving Traditions, a non-profit organization that uses gender as a framework to inspire women and men, boys and girls to engage more deeply with Judaism.  Ms. Meyer's talk is entitled "The Quest for Teens: How We Can Inspire the Next Generation of Jewish Men and Women?" and will explore how we can assist our adolescent children to make meaning of the world.  She will describe the research findings and programmatic experience of Moving Traditions and discuss how, drawing on Jewish teachings and an understanding of gender and human development, we can help teenage girls and boys navigate adolescence.

The community is welcome to attend; advanced reservations are requested for the dinner, $30 per person.
