Release: The Scarsdale Forum Inc. and the Town and Village Civic Club cordially invite the public to the first membership meeting of the fall season on Thursday, October 6 in the Scott Room of the Scarsdale Library at 8 p.m. A reception honoring the many dedicated volunteers of the Forum begins at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Following the business portion of the membership meeting, Mayor Miriam Levitt Flisser will speak on the “The State of the Village”.

The second half of the evening’s program will consist of a panel moderated by Seth Ross discussing the proposed changes to the Non-Partisan Resolution by the Procedure Committee and by the Forum’s Non-Partisan Procedure Committee. Panelists include Michelle Lichtenberg and David Brodsky, the chair and vice chair of the Procedure Committee and Larry Bell, the chair of the Forum committee.
A question and answer period will follow each presentation.

The Scarsdale Forum is a 107 year old civic organization dedicated to improving life in Scarsdale. The Forum studies issues before the Village, School and County Boards and provides input and recommendations via public reports and other public statements.
