Join your neighbors and welcome back the Westchester Band in concert Thursday night in Chase Park starting its 43rd season of free concerts. Alan Hollander, now in his 10th year as conductor, will present a wonderful program titled "Semper Fidelis" dedicated to the faithful people who support the band including the Friends of the Westchester Band and the Village of Scarsdale. Soloist Uma Karkala, also sax, will perform Earl Hagen's "Harlem Nocturne". You'll also hear big band, Jazz, classics and a "mystery tune" which could win you a prize. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy. The concerts will be held each Thursday through Aug.9th.
