The 86 member Westchester Band under the direction of Alan Hollander will present their 4th free concert of the summer in Chase Park on Thursday July 19th at 8:00pm. The program titled "Summer Breeze" will feature a wide variety of music for all tastes and the popular "mystery tune" which might get you a prize from one of Scarsdale's merchants. This weeks soloist will be the principal wind players in Mozart's "Grand Serenade for 13 Winds". The band is supported by the Scarsdale Department of Parks and Recreation and Friends of Westchester Band, a non profit organization that accepts donations. Bring a picnic supper, blankets and lawn chairs for another wonderful night in Scarsdale. In the event of rain the concert will be held in the Scarsdale High School auditorium.
