Westchester Band

On Thursday night at 8:00 in Chase Park, the 86 member Westchester Band under the direction of Alan Hollander along with special guests, the Hudson Voices choral group, present another outstanding night of music right in your backyard. The Hudson Voices will be heard in selections from "My Fair Lady", "Battle Hymn of the Republic". and will join the band in their traditional opening "America the Beautiful". The band will perform Gustaf Holst's "First Suite in F", "A Longford Legend", a collection of irish street dances, along with Dixieland, Big Band, light classics and the popular "mystery tune" which could get you a prize from one of our fine merchants. These concerts are supported by the Scarsdale Department of Parks and Recreation and Friends of Westchester Band, a non-profit organization that accepts donations. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join your neighbors. In the event of rain the concerts are held at the same time in the auditorium of Scarsdale High School.
