Ferncliff Cemetery Sues Town Of Greenburgh
The cemetery is known for the number of celebrities who chose it for their final resting place.

HARTSDALE, NY — The Town of Greenburgh is being sued by Ferncliff Cemetery for allegedly hampering its operations for years. The federal lawsuit was filed Monday and claims the town conspired with the Hilltop Farms civic association to keep the cemetery from being able to use its property.
The primary sticking point is the 12.5 acres, being used for maintenance and storage, across from Secor Road from the main facility, the Journal News said.
The cemetery is asking for a jury trial and is seeking damages in the amount of $60 million.
