For Good Measure, The Offbeats and McStuly to Play Scarsdale Teen Center Benefit

The Center@862, Scarsdale's popular teen center, will celebrate its 15th anniversary next month with the eighth annual Night of Rock benefit show.

The Scarsdale Teen Center, popularly known as The Center@862, celebrates its fifteenth anniversary at the eighth annual Night of Rock on Saturday, May 3, 2014.  Night of Rock 2014 kicks off at 7:00 p.m. with teen talent at The Center, 862 Scarsdale Avenue, followed by the adult bands. 

For Good Measure, Scarsdale High School’s first a cappella group, is the opening act followed by adult performers Stuart Bassel, Michael Gliedman and Lee Miller of McStuly, playing the music they heard at their teen center and The Offbeats, a band of Scarsdale High School 60’s-70’s alumni rockers.  The Center staff and volunteers will keep it rocking through the night!

In addition to the live musical performances, there will be a 50-50 raffle going on through the night featuring donations from rock band Skyfactor, several albums produced by Loma Vista Record Company and sports memorabilia from Steiner Sports.  Lange’s pizza and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
