Free Holiday Parking Set for Scarsdale

SCARSDALE, NY — To encourage holiday shopping, the Village of Scarsdale will be offering two hours of free parking in the downtown area.

The free parking will begin Monday, Dec. 19 and run through Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Village officials said the Scarsdale Police Department will enforce the two-hour limit, and merchants and their employees are asked to park in the longer-term metered and permit parking spaces located throughout the Village Center.

Free holiday parking originated through discussions among key stakeholders in the village, including representatives of the village board, village staff, Village Center merchants and landlords.
