Future leaders of Greenburgh mentoring session tomorrow (Monday August 10) at 7 PM, Town Hall

Want to be a future leader of Greenburgh? Every month I meet with residents –Democrats, Republicans, Independents- who want to get involved but don’t know how.

On Monday, August 10^th we will meet at Greenburgh Town Hall at 7 PM to about 8:30 PM.

The topic: legislative advocacy. Tips on how to get government officials to listen to you and act on your suggestions, concerns.

The future leaders of Greenburgh initiative is designed to encourage younger residents in their 20s-early 40s to get involved but is open to anyone.

An excellent program to attend if you want to

1. Attend meetings of any legislative body to express your ideas, concerns;
2. Participate or form a neighborhood associations;
3. Be appointed to advisory or policy making boards at the local, county, state or federal levels;
4. Run for office.
