Gerri Willis Of Fox Business Network Raises Money For Cancer Cure

The Hartsdale resident was one of the top fundraisers for the annual Race for the Cure.

HARTSDALE, NY — Gerri Willis, a Fox Business Network anchor and Hartsdale resident, is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in April 2016.

Now in remission, Willis has made it her mission to talk about her diagnosis and urge women to make certain they are screened for the disease as well as tearing down the stigma of being sick and helping women regain their power, beauty and confidence back when battling cancer.

Willis put her — and other people's — money where her mouth is by taking part in and fundraising for the 28th annual Race for the Cure which took place in New York City Sept. 9.
