Goldstein, Pizzuti and Frasca Win Greenburgh Fire District Elections

Additionally, bonding referendums for improvements to the Greenville fire department and the purchase of a new fire truck were also approved

Mike Goldstein, Claire Pizzuti and Anthony Frasca won elections Tuesday to two of Greenburgh’s Fire Commissions, according to officials.

Goldstein and Frasca were elected to the Hartsdale Fire Commission (Frasca was unopposed), while Pizzuti won a seat on the Fairview Fire Commission. Pizzuti defeated Todd V. Cammisa and Keith Guerra, and Goldstein beat Andrew Lee.

Exact vote totals for each candidate were not available, but on the town’s website, officials said the victors won by wide margins.

Additionally, bonding referendums for improvements to the Greenville fire department and the purchase of a new fire truck were also approved by voters.

The Greenville district, which is in Edgemont, is currently being investigated by Greenburgh police for possible insurance fraud. District officials deny any wrongdoing.
