Greenburgh Issues 57 Motor Vehicle Tickets, Displays Results
The board was on Fort Hill Road in the Edgemont section of Greenburgh Tuesday.
Greenburgh is letting driving know just how much law enforcement is watching them.
The town has a new digital speed display board, which shows the number of tickets issued per day.
On Tuesday, the total was 57.

“This digital speed board will discourage speeding by alerting motorists that the police are out there --and will be issuing tickets to those who drive recklessly,” said Town Supervisor Paul Feiner in a statement. “If drivers know that there is a strong possibility of getting a ticket on a street I think they will also be more careful.”
The board was on Fort Hill Road in the Edgemont section of Greenburgh Tuesday and was on East Hartsdale Avenue last week. Feiner said the board “will be moving around town to areas where residents have complained about speeding.”
